I’m Matteo Sostizzo, a photographer based in Thiene, Italy.
My photography moves between people, places and stories. I’m interested in observing what happens in front of the camera and turning it into images that feel authentic, precise and lasting.
I work across corporate, industrial, wedding and fine art photography, approaching every project with the same attention to light, form and atmosphere.
I call my approach Wide Open photography.
For me, being Wide Open means staying receptive: to light, to people, to unexpected moments and to everything that can happen between the photographer and the subject. It is less a technique than an attitude — a willingness to look carefully and let the image emerge.
Whether I’m working with a company, documenting a wedding or developing a personal project, I look for photographs that go beyond simply describing what is there.
